Cristoff

will be five years old this year and for an orphan in his country that means being transferred from the baby house.. which is not a good thing. Cristoff has multiple special needs, he will not thrive where he is and as much as I hate to admit it he will have a very short life once transferred, he will not survive. Knowing that breaks my heart, but we need to be aware of how very urgent this is. Look at his sweet face he is crying, he must be so very sad and terrified. He needs a mama/daddy that will hold him and comfort him. Please pray for him and donate if you can his grant is currently a little over 3k. I have seen video with him climbing a ladder and did I mention he is 5 and recites poetry......Other specified disorders of central nervous system; Other paralytic syndromes, Convergent concomitant strabismus, Congenital malformation of optic disc
Iron deficiency anaemia; Other cytomegaloviral diseases; Persistent hyperplasia of thymus, Cardiomyopathy
What a smile!!

Gil

Gil was born in January 2009 and found abandoned in a hospital when he was 18 months old.  He has been diagnosed with severe Thalassemia.  He is receiving regular blood transfusions, however, agency reps who have met him and followed his care say his treatment is not sufficient and the ramifications of his disease are progressing.  He needs a committed family urgently.            Somehow Gil manages to simultaneously be calm and rowdy, silly and serious, shy and outgoing. One minute he is fully engrossed in the picture he is coloring, the next he is flopping around in the ball pit. One minute he is hamming it up for pictures—tilting his head to the side, flashing the peace sign, and grinning ear to ear—the next he is on the floor intently doing a puzzle. And during it all, he just has this endearing nature. His sweetness draws you in http://waitingchildinfo.com/2009/01/01/gil-2/ Gil

She has been diagnosed with congenital retinal degeneration, which means she is basically blind although she has some light sensation. This is Charlie. He has Down Syndrome and is 8 years old. We have visited his orphanage and can tell you that he is well cared for, well fed, clean, fun, speaks clearly, and follows directions very well. He would make an awesome brother!
He is on Reece's Rainbow and Red Thread Advocates. Is he your son?
